Maker’s Mark is a small-batch bourbon whisky produced at Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky. Created by the Samuels family in 1953, it was the world’s first premium bourbon. Bill Samuels, Sr. created the Maker’s flavor, and his wife, Margie, designed the packaging. Bill forever changed how people thought about making bourbon by using soft, red winter wheat instead of rye for a one-of-a-kind, full-flavored bourbon that’s smooth and balanced. Star Hill Farm has a limestone shelf that filters out iron from water, one of the key elements to crafting the unique taste of Maker’s Mark. Their son Bill Samuels Jr. carried on their legacy and brought the brand from a Kentucky favorite to an American icon. Join us and enjoy cocktails featuring this classic bourbon, paired with a 3-course menu created by Chef Hugo Ortega. National Brand Ambassador, Tyler Wang, will join us for the dinner.
