Tablas Creek Wine Dinner with Darren Delmore
February 28, 2019 07:00 PM until February 28, 2019 09:00 PM
Thursday, February 28, 7pm
California’s Paso Robles AVA is booming. What was once an area for a few high-octane Cabernet producers has grown into one of the most exciting areas of wine in America. The house most responsible for that evolution and the diverse array of wines in the region is Tablas Creek Vineyard. Founded in 1989, they were born from a unique friendship between France’s Perrin family of Chateau de Beaucastel and American Robert Haas of Vineyard Brands. After a few years searching for California’s own “Rhone Valley,” they fell in love with Paso Robles. Their belief in the area and commitment to importing the best French vine cuttings is a major reason for Paso’s success today. The focus on Rhone varieties like Roussanne, Marsanne, Grenache, Syrah and others has yielded amazing wines. They are exciting and incredible food partners and have expanded the scope of California wine.
Join us as we host Darren Delmore, the longtime National Sales Director of Tablas Creek. Darren is a tremendous wine personality and knows these lands, these vineyards and these wines better than anyone. You couldn’t ask for a better evening of wonderful food and lovely wines. Best of all, we get to learn about this rising wine destination. We hope to see you on February 28th for this great evening.
