Our 35th anniversaryWine dinner with Sommelier Sean Beck
Wednesday, October 24th, 7pm
It's true what they say - time flies when you're having fun. And what fun these last 35 years have been! When Tracy Vaught opened Backstreet Cafe in 1983, we served sandwiches, salads and snacks, and evolved into one of the city's best restaurants and the genesis for many careers in food and wine. Backstreet’s fall opening and history as a wine destination has always given us a strong connection to harvest. There’s a moment every October when the weather is perfect and people flock to the patio. It’s a time of seasonal celebration and a flurry of activity that coincides with grapes being ready to harvest.
For this year’s Anniversary dinner, we are focusing on that connection to harvest, rather than a particular winery. Join us on Wednesday, October 24 as we celebrate our special day with some wonderful fall food and gorgeous wines from around the world.
